What is the booking process for my wedding?
Simply fill out the form under the "Bridal Inquiry" section and provide all your details. Once received, I’ll reach out to schedule a call, and we’ll take it from there! I try to answer all inquiries between 24-48 hours
For weddings, a non-refundable deposit is required to save your wedding date.
Do I need a trial? How far in advance should I book one?
Trial appointments are not required before booking. If you're sure you want to work with us for your wedding, you can go ahead and secure your date with a bridal contract and deposit, then schedule your trial later. Most of our brides prefer this option! We recommend booking your trial 2-3 months before your wedding and coordinating it with your final dress fitting or hair preview to see your full bridal look.
While many brides opt for a trial, it’s completely optional!
How far in advance do I have to book?
My bridal makeup services require advance booking. I recommend reaching out 6-12 months ahead of your wedding date. While I can try to accommodate last-minute requests, booking early is strongly advised.
Can changes be made after I book my date with you?
Of course! Your timeline, getting ready address, or service quantity can always be adjusted to your needs.
I have a large bridal party. Do I need to book 2 makeup artists?
I can do 5 services myself, including the bride. For parties of 6 or more, a second artist will be needed. Any additional artists I bring will provide top-tier service
How can I prep my skin to ensure my makeup looks flawless?
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water! I recommend professional dermaplaning and a HydraFacial for smooth makeup application. Keep in mind, makeup won’t hide texture and can sometimes highlight it. Most clients schedule a facial about a week before their wedding. I’m happy to provide esthetician recommendations upon request!
If you're getting a spray tan, please avoid your face—I’ll color match it perfectly for a seamless look.
Do you offer airbrush makeup?
While I personally prefer traditional makeup, I understand some clients still enjoy the airbrush technique. Either option is perfectly fine, and I offer both services at no additional charge. If you prefer airbrush, I’m more than happy to accommodate!
Are you able to do a variety of skin tones?
Absolutely! I understand why you'd ask, but rest assured, I’m well-equipped to work with all skin tones. With my experience in NYC, I’ve worked with every complexion and am an expert in color matching. As a versatile and professionally trained makeup artist, I take pride in my ability to accommodate everyone, no matter the skin tone. My makeup kit is stocked to suit anyone who sits in my chair, so you and your bridal party are in great hands!
Are wedding day services provided at your location or do you travel?
Wedding day services are always provided at your chosen getting ready location!
Do you offer touch up services?
Yes, touch up services are available upon request!
Can I schedule my trial on the weekend?
Since I reserve weekends for weddings, I typically schedule trial appointments Monday through Wednesday. However, I can always check availability and see if I can accommodate a weekend trial if possible.
What should I expect the morning of my wedding?
You've taken care of everything so far—now it's time to let me take care of your glam! This morning is all about pampering you, with all questions and concerns already addressed during your preview.
When working on location, I always allocate plenty of time for parking, setup, and ensuring I arrive promptly.
Can you take separate payments from my bridal party as they are covering their own costs?
Payments are accepted from a single payee (the bride). If the bridal party is handling their own expenses, gather the payments from each member and submit the total amount collectively on the morning it’s due
Where do you travel to?
I travel to and from all across South Carolina & beyond. Local to Charleston & Summerville but travel is welcomed!
Local Charleston Area: Downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, James Island, Moncks Corner
Nearby Destinations: Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island.
Extended Travel: Beaufort, Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, Savannah, GA, and other destinations within a few hours' drive.
For locations over a 2+ hour drive, hotel accommodations will be necessary. Out of state bookings will require travel arrangements (flight, hotel, and transportation)
What do I need to prepare for you on the day of the event?
Please arrange for a space with the best natural light, ideally near a window. I provide a high chair for clients, but I will also need tablespace to set up equipment properly.
How long does each makeup application take on the wedding day?
Bridal Party (Bridesmaids, Mothers, Wedding Guests) take average 45 min-1 hr each person, depending on the look desired
Brides can take anywhere from 1 hr 30 min-2 hrs
Do you do hair or know anyone who does?
I specialize in makeup and do not offer hair services. However, I know several amazingly talented hairstylists and would be happy to recommend them if you’re interested!
Do you create a wedding day timeline?
Absolutely! I create a rough draft timeline 2-3 months before your date and the final timeline is sent 30 days prior to your date.
